4/3/2012 12:06:35 AM All gas blocks get extremely hot after repeated fire. That said I don’t think one mag dump will effect it any but I am curious. Why don’t you test this so we’ll all know? Run a mag and check, then run another and check to see how much heat is being transferred to the light, not just the mount. I’m willing to bet it will take some serious round count to ruin a quality light. Oh by the way, good looking rifle. faawrenchbndr
